Christa is a Limited License Psychologist and Michigan Certified School Psychologist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Arts degree in School and Community Psychology from Wayne State University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Michigan Association of School Psychologists. During the day, Christa works as a school psychologist for the Midland County Educational Service Agency, and works part-time in the evening as a therapist. Due to this experience in both the school and clinical setting, Christa is uniquely positioned to assist families of school-age children in navigating the intricacies associated with special education, academic and behavioral difficulties, as well as other educational concerns/issues. Christa specializes in working with children and adolescents, but enjoys working with individuals of all ages. Christa has experience providing cognitive-behavioral therapy to treat a wide range of behavioral and emotional problems, including depression, anxiety, and emotional regulation difficulties. She also provides social skills training, as well as parental behavioral management guidance, to address deficits often associated with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders.
